Terms of Service

Last updated October 26, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of GYSIO Time & Payroll (the “Service”), provided by GYSIO Business & Bookkeeping, Inc. (“GYSIO,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you're using the Service on behalf of a business, you're agreeing on that business's behalf and confirming you have authority to do so.

What the Service is — and isn't

GYSIO Time & Payroll is a time-tracking and payroll-approval tool: employees clock in and out, businesses review and approve hours, and estimated pay figures are shown for convenience. The Service is not a payroll processor — it does not file payroll taxes, remit withholding to any government agency, or issue paychecks. Any wage, tax, or paycheck estimate shown in the Service (including the wage calculator) is an informational estimate only, not a payroll calculation, tax advice, or a guarantee of accuracy. The Service also does not automatically apply overtime, meal-break, minimum-wage, or other wage-and-hour compliance rules for any specific state or locality — your business remains responsible for complying with the wage-and-hour laws that apply to it. GYSIO separately offers full-service payroll and bookkeeping outside this app; using this Service does not by itself make GYSIO your payroll processor.

Electronic signatures

The Service lets employers and employees sign payroll approvals and time attestations electronically, by typing a name and confirming consent. You agree that doing so has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature, under the U.S. E-SIGN Act and similar state law. You're responsible for the accuracy of anything you sign.

P-Cards

Any “P-Card” entry you create in the Service is a record you keep for your own bookkeeping — GYSIO does not issue cards, load funds, or move money of any kind through this feature. You're solely responsible for the accuracy of these records and for actually funding any card through your own bank or card provider.

Invoices

The invoicing feature lets you generate a billing document from your own time and project data to send to your own clients. GYSIO does not process, guarantee, or collect payment on any invoice you create. An invoice created for a client in Mexico is a supporting billing document only — it is not a CFDI (Comprobante Fiscal Digital) and does not satisfy Mexican SAT electronic-invoicing requirements, which require certification through a SAT-authorized provider (PAC). You're responsible for meeting any tax-invoicing requirements that apply to your own business and clients.

Accounts and acceptable use

  • You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account.
  • Don't use the Service to store or transmit unlawful content, or to violate anyone's rights.
  • Don't attempt to access another business's data, or interfere with the Service's normal operation.
  • Time and note entries should be accurate to the best of your knowledge — the Service is a record businesses rely on for payroll.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from your billing page — cancellation stops future billing but doesn't refund the current billing period. We may change plan pricing going forward with notice; changes don't apply retroactively to a period you've already paid for.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and close your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or to protect the Service or other users.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that estimated figures it shows will be exact.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GYSIO isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including reliance on any estimated pay, tax, or withholding figure. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim arose.

Trademarks

SAG-AFTRA, Exhibit G, and related names and marks are trademarks of their respective owners. GYSIO Time & Payroll is an independent product built by GYSIO Business & Bookkeeping, Inc. and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by SAG-AFTRA or any other union. Any report the Service generates in an Exhibit G-style format is our own tool, modeled on the general structure of that form for convenience — it is not an official union document, and we don't guarantee any production or union will accept it as a substitute for one.

Intellectual property

GYSIO Time & Payroll — including its software, design, workflows, and content — is owned by GYSIO Business & Bookkeeping, Inc. and protected by copyright and other applicable laws. Your subscription gives you a limited right to use the Service for your own business; it doesn't transfer ownership of the Service to you. You may not copy, duplicate, reverse-engineer, resell, sublicense, or build a competing product from the Service without our prior written permission.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which GYSIO Business & Bookkeeping, Inc. is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top when we do.
