The problem
Small businesses and small productions were stuck choosing between two bad options: paper timecards and shared spreadsheets — error-prone, slow, and with nothing to show if a question comes up — or enterprise entertainment-payroll platforms built for productions ten times their size, with the pricing and onboarding to match. Nothing existed built specifically for the small end of either market.
Who we are
GYSIO is an entertainment accounting firm — bookkeeping, tax, and financial advisory built around the entertainment industry. GYSIO Time & Payroll grew out of that work: built by people who process production paperwork and small-business payroll every day, not a generic engineering team guessing at what this industry needs.
What "Get Yo' Stuff In Order" means
It's direct, a little irreverent, and built for people who are done being buried in paperwork. We named the company after the outcome we're actually going for — your hours, your payroll, your paperwork, in order — not the other way around.
